The Nations of the World, accepting invitation to a Halloween party from America, found themselves trapped in Hell on Earth. Only after an united effort to break the spell holding them within the confines of Baudeau Manor did they finally find their freedom from that dark place. Yet how does one escape the effects of such trauma? How does one process the knowledge of breaking alliances, betrayals, and murder for the sake of survival? How deep do the scars run when the wounds come from being mangled body, mind and soul?
Nightmares remain. Memories of the Manor surface up, of wicked deeds and grotesque monsters. Of watching loved ones die again and again. What can this psychological impact have upon a Nation that is, in essence, immortal? Can there be forgiveness for wrongdoings committed in the Manor? Just how does the healing process even begin?
In the Aftermath of the Manor of Fate, is there really any escape at all?
