The room was silent, save for a heavy sigh that briefly filled one corner of the space as Ireland paced around the Lady's Parlor, her footsteps soundless of the soft rug that covered the floor. In fact, it was too quiet. The silence was becoming more irritating than anything else at that moment in time. So, she continued to pace.
Maybe she was waiting for somebody to show up, or for something to happen. Aoife didn't really know any more. To be completely honest, the red-headed nation was completely... confused by this manor. Nothing really seemed to make any sense here. Everything seemed to be all messed up and weird...
Even that painting on the other side of the room was pretty weird.
Her green eyes glanced at said painting and the Irish woman stopped in her tracks to examine it. A faceless woman, keeping watch over the Lady's Parlor. There was something rather menacing about her, though.
With the slightest smirk, Aoife gave the painting a flamboyant and low bow.
"Thanks, dear, for lookin' after the ladies an' keepin' em safe~!" She finished off her sentence with a wink before spinning on her heels to go back to her pacing.
The silence was still getting to her. And she was bored. Earlier, she had been half-tempted to enter the Men's Smoking Room to see if her brothers were there; but something had put her off. An ominous feeling coming from there... She shuddered and pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind.
The point was, there had been no sign of her family. So Ireland was worried sick. But, worrying only made her uptight. That was why she was here; trying to get her thoughts back together.
It was still to quiet, though. That was until the moment the redhead found a song appear in her head. A rather... dark song, she admitted. Then again, it did suit the mood of this place.
Ireland glanced around the room again, this time humming the rather melancholy tune. The notes just seemed to roll off her tongue as she waltzed her way over to the piano in the corner and press down on a random key. Aoife had a vague idea how to play piano, but she was better with string instruments. Even so, she poked the next key, and very slowly and rustily began to play the tune, humming along slowly.

Elizabeta smiled a bit while walking the hallway to the Ladies Parlor; she could already smell the expensive perfume that seemed to have sunken in the wood like cigarette smoke. She brushed her hair behind her ears and continued smiling when she reached the door. She grabbed the handle and turned it then walked into the room. She ran her fingers over the furniture and tables and smiled. They were surprisingly clean which made her happy when she rubbed her fingers together and then brushed her hands off on her dress.
Elizabeta looked at the walls and frowned when she saw the mean looking red headed lady hanging on the wall. She must have something to do with the monsters that attack the opposite sex Liz wondered, her mind continued to wonder to the Men's Smoking room and if they had a stern looking man. Elizabeta shook her head to clear her thoughts when the ominous and melancholy tune started to play out of no where. The phantom noise sent cold chills down her spine; after listening to it for a few minutes it started to get a little catchy so Liz began to hum it and sway her head to the tune.
That's when it hit her... Liz wasn't alone in here she turned to see a red haired girl probably her age or younger also humming the tune. At first Liz wondered if she was the woman in the picture. But then Liz looked at the picture and the stern angry woman and then looked at the younger girl and blew out a puff of air when she saw how warm and happy the girl's face was. She tilted her head when the red head looked to be deep in thought. Elizabeta gave the girl a warm smiled and waved her arms rapidly "Szia!" She said then realized the redhead probably didn't know Hungarian "Hello!" she said in English instead. Elizabeta sat in a chair and smiled rubbing her arms on the antique furniture. "It is nice in here, no?" She asked "Much nicer than the rest of the place." She said and laughed a bit.

Gradually, the song was becoming more fluid and much less rusty, so it actually started to sound like a tune instead of random notes on an old piano that had been thrown together. A smile began to part her lips at this, as Ireland relaxed and let her fingers run over the keyboard. She hadn't even noticed when somebody else had entered the room; she was so absorbed in the music.
"Szia! Hello! It is nice in here, no? Much nicer than the rest of the place."
Aoife stopped playing abruptly; mid-song; when she heard a voice greet her. She could have sworn she recognised that voice...
The redhead pulled away from the piano slowly, straightening up before turning on her heels to face the other woman. A neutral expression remained fixed on her face as Ireland glanced over the other who had appeared and was not seated in one of the comfortable chairs, smiling at her. Long brown hair, green eyes... Yes, Aoife recognised this woman. There was something very familiar about her appearance. Was she from the World Meetings? She couldn't remember. Most of her memories seemed askew thanks to this manor house. Aoife was even finding it hard to remember what her brother’s looked like. At the moment, her memories of them and all the other nations seemed much more like blurry figures against a fuzzy backdrop...
Then it hit her! How could she forget? The memories of those she knew and had seen at the meetings seemed to suddenly sharpen as clarity filled her thoughts. And her expression soon broke out in a large smile the moment she realised who the other woman was.
"Hungary! I didn't realise you were at this place too!" she exclaimed, deliberately making sure to reduce her usually thicker Irish accent so the other woman would be able to understand her better. Ireland didn’t even stop to consider that the other European might not remember her; the redhead was far too pleased to be in the company of someone else now. Her smile remained bright as she quickly took the seat opposite from the other female nation, a slight pang of relief and strangely excitement filled her the moment she worked out she was in the company of an “ally” in this whole mess of a situation. Running a hand through her tangled mess of red curly hair, Ireland let out a soft sigh and reclined in the comfortable chair. "How long have you been here? And have you seen any sign of any of the other nations?"

Elizabeta took a while to recognize the girl but when she did she grinned at Aoife "I am so happy to be seeing you!" She said and laughed in her normal friendly tone. "She looked around she hadn't seen a clock since she got here "Well... I have been in here for a about 5 minuets. I don't know how long I have been in the mansion though." She said and looked down at her shoes and frowned. "I haven't really seen anyone else i recognize here." She continued to look at her shoes and play with the hem of her dress. "Have you seen anyone?"
Elizabeta's thoughts seemed to be everywhere she wished that she could focus on one thing, but it was all over. Her thoughts where rushing and she was having a hard time remembering Gilbert and Austria and how did they looked. It made her feel uneasy about being in here; Eliza looked on the table and frowned when she picked up a yellow discolored news paper from the late 1800s she frowned some more seeing there was a thick layer of dust coating it "Ireland... Look at this news paper!" Elizabeta said she was fascinated with how old it was.
She opened it to a random page and saw that it had crudely taken blurry pictures in black in white and blotchy writing that was hard to read. She frowned "I cant read it... It is too blotchy." She said and put it on the table back where it was. The melancholy music continued to play the sweet sounding sad music. Eliza looked over to the piano and smiled remembering Austria and him playing Chopin and Mozart it was music to her ears. She got up and sat at the piano then started to press keys hoping music would come out, but like always no such luck. "I was never very talented with the piano... Or playing any instrument for that fact." She said and laughed "Roddy tried to teach my but... It didnt really work out at all." she grinned and looked over at Ireland.
