Pushing the gate open with a shove, the rusty hinges screeched loudly, ringing in his ears, breaking the silence that covered them like a heavy blanket trying to smother them. The hinges continued to scream for him to stop moving them until the gate was opened all the way and they gave one last final groan in appreciation. With a sigh and a wiggle of a finger in his ear, Sadiq walked forward, leaving the gate open. He didn’t want to have to fight to close it and didn’t want to have to fight to open it again; there was always the small chance the hinges wouldn’t want to open again, trapping him in this place he had entered freely. He has managed to escape the house and traveled down the path he had found which had led him to this…where was he? Taking a deep breath, he smelled a soft and gentle scent. Smiling when he placed it, he walked further in and bent down next to the path and reached out to touch one of the flowers that lined the walkway. The flower felt like velvet against his finger as he caressed it as gently as he would a lover. There were very few things that Sadiq held near and dear, and flowers were one of them, especially his beloved tulip. Flowers were beautiful and soothing to the soul, they required a lot of attention, and care, all he was happy to give to keep the precious things alive.
With another sigh, he caressed the flower one more time before bending down and smelling it. The sweet fragrance tickled his nose and made him smile. He had missed the smell of flowers when he was trapped in the manor. He missed the smell of flowers and the feel of the sun against his skin and the wind blowing in his hair, all of it. Getting up carefully as to not disturb the flowers more than he already had, he walked deeper in the garden he had found. Sadiq briefly wondered if he was going to meet anyone that had also escaped the house, hut he doubted it. Not that he cared about company, he was used to being alone after all.

Lars was always on edge these days, it seemed. Antsy. Nervous. Irritable. His iompany and the current predicament with his sister barely did anything to calm his weary nerves either. Down to his last four cigarettes, his last few Heinekens left from the costume party, nothing seemed to appease the ash blond these days. Though with their current predicament he had no reason to pretend he even had an ounce of happiness in him.
He released a tense sigh as he exited the manor, heading toward the garden. The only thing that kept the Dutchman at any form of ease, the same thing that reminded him of bustling festivals and his mansion in Flevoland, were his national flower. Even though some were already wilting due to lack of care, he still went to take care of the tulips every once in awhile.
He opened the creaky gate door, it was one of the few times he enjoyed being alone. The smell of the orange, red, pink, and yellow tulips giving him the shameful feeling of nostalgia. His hands felt almost too dirty to even hold one of the delicate plant, still, as he picked one up he pressed the delicate pedal against the bridge of his nose and took in the alluring scent.
"... Turkije ?"
His lips parted as he slanted his eyes a bit. It was a free manor, to roam and do what you please but at the moment, Lars was in no mood to see anybody, up to and including the Islamic country.
"Beat it. I need time alone."

Hearing the voice say his country name, he cursed his luck. Out of all the fellow Nations he could have met, did he have to meet with the one that seemed to have the most problems with him? Apparently he did, and apparently this encounter was going to go the same way they always did, bugging the crap out of each other the whole time.
"I was here first, I'm not leaving just because you want me to.....there’s enough room here for both of us. Just shut ya trap and we'll be good." He knew that was a slightly mean of him in response, but really, it could have been worse from him. Actually, that was pretty mild compared to how they usually talked and fight. Actually, there were no insults at all, so it really was an improvement....not that the other would see it as such.
With a sigh, he walked over and sat down on one of the benches that every so often appeared on the path, as if way back when the house was in its prime, lovers would stroll in the garden and just enjoy each other company....of course this was before something had caused the house to turn evil and somehow became sentient and haunted with monsters and ghosts and other such creatures he had yet to see...thankfully. He closed his eyes and shook his head, there was no use in thinking about the past now, it didn't matter; how could it matter all that much to the survival of them all now? Were they all actually surviving? They weren't living, that was certain. Survive, one hour at a time, one minute at a time, that’s all they could do.
"I'm surprised you got out of the house too, I didn't think it would let that many out at one time."
